With 19 clinics across Australia, Kieser opened its newest clinic in the heart of Ocean Grove
Kieser Physiotherapist, Jedd Michell, saw a need in the Ocean Grove area for Physiotherapy, rehab and clinical strength training with the growing population.
“As Ocean Grove’s population grows, so does the need for our clients to keep doing the activities they love, whether it be surfing, golfing or running”, says Jedd.
“The Kieser method is a fusion of Physiotherapy and strength & conditioning. It is an evidence-based, best practice formula and is appropriate for all ages, which sets us apart from other fitness centres and Physio clinics. Our strength training programs are designed and overseen by qualified health professionals, and they are safe and specific for individual needs. Training at Kieser is very different to a traditional fitness environment because of our Swiss-engineered equipment, non-intimidating environment and time efficient programs that can be completed in 30 minutes, twice per week.” says Jedd.
Kieser clients begin their journey with an initial assessment with one of their Physiotherapists who will prepare a comprehensive treatment plan to reduce any aches and pains and start the process of reconditioning. Clients are then introduced to a Kieser Exercise Scientist who will develop a training program. This program is tailored specifically to the individual circumstances, taking into account age, condition, activities and goals.
Kieser opened their first clinic in Australia in 2006 and now operate 20 clinics across Australia, including Torquay, Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast. Kieser work with a variety of organisations in the local community, from sport clubs, such as the Geelong Cats, to local health professionals & health insurers, including local health insurer, GMHBA. Kieser also sponsors a number of local clubs and charity organisations to give back to the community.
