A $10 admin fee will be charged for all upgrade / downgrade requests. This will be charged on top of the price difference for upgrades, the price difference will not be refunded for downgrades.
Please follow the instructions below to process your event change.
CHANGES MADE BEFORE 11:59PM, 4TH APRIL 2025
- Log into your www.myevents.active.com account
- Find your Great Ocean Road Running Festival registration and select “change category”.
- Follow prompts to change event.

Event changes made from 12:00am 5th April 2025 onwards
Please follow the same steps above.
However, if you opted for complimentary race bib postage, you will receive the race bib for the event you were registered in prior to April 5. You will be responsible to come to the race week office and swap your bib for the correct distance. You will not be able to participate with the wrong distance bib as this bib number is now void.
You can change your distance online up until Friday 16 May, after this time you will need to make this change in person at either of our Race Week Offices.
No changes will be permitted after the Event race office has closed on Saturday 17 May 2025.
