By volunteering, you will gain a GUARANTEED OPPORTUNITY to purchase an entry to the 2026 Great Ocean Road Running Festival presented by Melrose. That’s right – guaranteed! Even if the event reaches a sell out on any or all of the event categories, you will still have an opportunity to purchase your entry up until May 1st 2026.

- All volunteer opportunities will be in or close to Lorne on Sunday 18th May
- Shift times will be 7:00am – 11:30am
- You will receive an official event Volunteer Shirt
- Responsibilities include filling roles at Drink Stations, Course Marshaling and support around the Lorne Festival Hub
- Type of role allocated will be determined based on the needs of the event
- Course Marshal roles may be as an individual
- You will need to formally check in and out at the Lorne Race Office at both the start and end of the shift
- A link will be sent to you prior to the on sale period of the 2026 event, providing priority access
