The Great Ocean Road marathon will be Vanessa’s fourth marathon in 9yrs. This will be her first Great Ocean Road Marathon, and her first time fundraising.  Having lost her mother in law Nola at the age 64 in 2020 after a long & brave fight with ovarian cancer for 4yrs, Vanessa will be running to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Research.

Nola will be Vanessa’s inspiration completing the 44km course from Lorne to Apollo Bay. Nola fought every single day with ovarian cancer but always managed to keep smiling. Nola will miss her grandchildren’s graduations, their weddings and and her own children succeed their life own milestones.
