Update: Cancelled 2020 Great Ocean Road Running Festival

In light of further Victorian restrictions and the health concerns and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are saddened to announce the Great Ocean Road Running Festival 2020 on August 22 and 23 has been cancelled.

We recognise and share your disappointment, but trust you understand that the circumstances and our commitment to the health and safety of our participants, staff, volunteers and the community has made it impossible for us to deliver this year’s event. Registered participants will receive an email with more information.

We are however pleased to share that the 2021 Great Ocean Road Running Festival is confirmed to take place May 15 and 16. The Great Ocean Road Running Festival is one of the most scenic running events in the world, providing the only opportunity to run along the beautiful south-eastern coastline between Lorne and Apollo Bay. We are privileged to share such a memorable experience on a national heritage listed site, and would love for you to join us!

And although we can’t physically bring everyone together next month, we will be staging another Great Ocean Road Virtual Running Event on August 21-30 to help our running community maintain their goals, stay inspired and keep fit.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.
