In light of the state of emergency declared by Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews beginning Monday 16 March for the next 4 weeks banning non-essential, organised public gatherings of more than 500 people due to global health concerns regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are reviewing all options for the Great Ocean Road Running Festival set to take place 16-17 May 2020.
The health and safety of our participants, spectators and the local Victorian communities involved in the Great Ocean Road Running Festival remains our top priority, and we are working with Regional Roads Victoria, the Surf Coast and Colac Otway Shires and Victorian Police to explore all options for the event. At this stage, our preparations continue.
We will continue sharing relevant updates via email, our website and social feeds.
