Due to Victoria Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton’s current ban on all non-essential mass gatherings of over 500 people and in light of global health concerns surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), the 2020 Great Ocean Road Running Festival scheduled for 16-17 May 2020 has been postponed to 22-23 August 2020. We will continue to monitor all available public health information in conjunction with the relevant authorities between now and the new rescheduled date
This decision was made after careful consideration, as the health and safety of everyone involved remains our top priority. We are committed to providing participants the unique opportunity to run the fully-closed Great Ocean Road with this world-class event that greatly benefits the regional community through tourism.
We thank you for your support and patience, and hope that you will be able to join us for this unmissable event 22-23 August 2020. Registered participants will automatically be transferred to our new dates, or refunds may be requested for those who are unable to attend in August by completing this withdrawal form on or before Tuesday April 7.
